Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant Training Coordinator plays a critical role in the expansion and successful opening of new medical practices, directly shaping the patient's experience and fostering a supportive, efficient environment for both patients and staff. This position is responsible for setting setup for all new site launches and providing leadership in day-to-day front desk operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced medical assistant that will play a key role in ensuring efficient clinical operations while providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
· Participate in the interview process, ensuring candidates meet the needs of the practice and team culture.
· Provide hands-on training to staff on how to navigate eClinicalWorks for patient scheduling, clinical documentation, and reporting.
· Train staff on managing and ordering medical supplies and vaccines, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
· Ensure accurate management of eClinicalWorks data, responding to web, telephone, and system-related inquiries within two business days.
· Provide instructions on administering treatments and ensuring proper documentation in eClinicalWorks.
· Assist in the operational setup of new medical practices, ensuring that all administrative functions are ready for launch (e.g., office supplies, scheduling systems, patient management).
· Help teams integrate quality measures into daily workflows, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
· Teach staff the importance of maintaining accurate, up-to-date medical charts, reports, and patient correspondence.
· Provide continued support to new office teams after initial training, offering regular check-ins and additional resources as needed.
· Ensure staff are proficient in linking diagnostic imaging with orders and tracking follow-ups.
· Teach staff how to monitor vaccine inventory weekly, ensuring proper handling and storage.
· Instruct staff on checking vaccine refrigerator temperatures and monitoring medications for expiration on a weekly basis.
· Required to travel all CPC (Maryland/DC/Virgina) to offer operational support.

Education and Experience:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
· Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
· Experience: 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with prior leadership or training experience preferred.
· EMR: eClinical Works experience preferred.
Work Environment:
· Requires the ability to stand and sit for hours at a time (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements, and ability to lift 25 lbs.
Medical Clearance: You must complete Comprehensive Primary Care’s medical clearance requirements, including evidence of Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal screen, and a Tuberculosis screen, or have an approved medical or religious accommodation precluding vaccination against these diseases.
