Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Stay current with best practices in nursing standards and advancements in medical knowledge.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical settings.
  • Proficient in medication administration techniques and understanding of pharmacology.
  • Experience in medical-surgical nursing, with the ability to handle various patient ailments effectively.
  • Familiarity with basic life support protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to maintain organized medical records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Strong critical thinking skills for assessing patient needs and making informed decisions regarding care.
