A Reputable, Non Profit, and Home Based Hospice Provider in New Castle County, DE is searching for full time and permanent Nurse Practitioner to treat in private homes of hospice patients. Position will involve about 4 visits per day and offers a ton of autonomy.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM with some flexibility. An occasional on-call rotation is required. No holidays.
Benefits and Compensation for the Nurse Practitioner:
- Competitive salary ranging from approximately $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year depending on years of experience and qualifications
- 403b plan with employer paid contribution
- 31 days of PTO accrued year one of employment 7 paid holidays
- Mileage reimbursement at .68 cents
Requirements for the Nurse Practitioner:
- Minimum of 1 year of strong clinical experience working with Hospice or Palliative Care Experience is required
- Active NP license in the state of DE or ability to apply for one
Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Provide end of life and comfort care for approximately 4 hospice patients living in private homes across New Castle County DE
- Answer questions the families or patients may have, collaborate with interdisciplinary team, medication administration, make recommendations to provider based on patients current condition, etc.
