What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Manager position at Compressor Controls?
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Listed in order of relevance :
- Review and negotiate non-standard terms and conditions of commercial contracts with customer's internal departments (purchasing / contracting / legal and outside counseling). Identify and allocate risk in accordance with company policies, providing commercially viable solutions.
- Update the company's Contracts Database when a contract is negotiated and signed : (1) abstracting relevant terms from contracts to provide key point information; (2) entering of data; (3) arranging notifications of expiration dates of framework agreements.
- Ensure that all purchase orders follow proper export compliance regulations.
- Assist in the analysis of other contractual documents such as non-disclosure agreements.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management as needed.
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
