What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at Compri Consulting?
Desktop Computer Technician – On Site – Phoenix, AZ
This is a 90 day contract that pays $23/hr
Purpose: Provide technical support for desktop software, troubleshoot issues, and deploy new computers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer daily technical support to end users.
- Resolve technical problems for customers.
- Follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
- Troubleshoot with vendors and systems.
- Handle sensitive information confidentially.
Experience/Education/Skills:
- 4 years of related experience.
- Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications: A , Net , MCP, CCNA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 11.
- Desired technical skills: Microsoft AutoPilot, Microsoft Intune, Powershell, Dell Hardware Support, Bomgar, PatchMyPC, BeyondTrust.
- Experience with ticketing systems and asset management.
- Strong customer service skills.

- Resourceful and quick learner.
- Work under general supervision with some independent judgment.
- Strong knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Understand and follow processes and workflows.
Other Requirements:
- Onsite attendance required, Monday to Friday in Phoenix, AZ
- May be assigned to Desktop OnCall schedule.
- May be assigned to any shift based on business needs.
