Title: Accounting Assistant (Part Time)

Duration: 6 Months
Job schedule - 30 hours per week (4 days on-site & 1 day remote, 6-hour days)
Job Hours-8am–2pm (6 hours/day)
Job Summary: The primary functions for this position that is part of our Producer Services team are:
Job Responsibilities:
• Setting up and creating records for Agents (Set up identifying codes for existing producers in internal systems).
• Update internal systems with key data on a timely basis.
• Assist on projects in support of business needs.
• Assist team where needed.
• Process appointments/terminations if needed.
• Process mass data updates
Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
o Excel-Data entry experience needed
o Word-Will be using templates
o Outlook-Outlook no calendars, just managing emails.
• High attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner
• Excellent communication skills
Education/Experience:
Associates Degree preferred
Insurance industry experience preferred 2-3 year
- Any role that required attention to detail in the day to day workings of the role.
- Financial experience helpful-Cash Management, accounting skills.
