We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Military/Veteran Admission Representative to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct presentations and information sessions to educate prospective veteran students about academic programs and admission requirements.
- Engage with potential students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Assist in the recruitment of new students by building relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other educational institutions.
- Provide academic advising to prospective students, helping them identify suitable programs based on their interests and career goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to student recruitment and retention.
- Attend military college fairs and community events to promote the institution and its programs.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and follow up as necessary.
Experience
- Must be a veteran
- Previous experience in education administration or a related field is preferred.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Experience working directly with students in an academic advising or recruiting capacity is highly desirable.
- A background in higher education or university settings will be advantageous.
- A passion for educating others and helping them achieve their academic goals is essential.
