Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the 24x7 Service Desk team, ensuring continuous support and response to infrastructure and cloud-related issues
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, helping them develop and excel in their roles
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Manage the company's cloud operations, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and cloud-related issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions
- Ensure a seamless digital experience for both internal and external stakeholders by monitoring and enhancing the performance of digital systems and services
- Manage desktop support to meet the needs of the growing workforce, guaranteeing their technological tools are fully functional
- Lead the procurement process for technology resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely acquisition of necessary hardware and software
- Develop and implement change control processes to assess, prioritize, and manage modifications to client infrastructure and cloud environment
- Collaborate with other departments to align infrastructure and cloud operations with the company's growth objectives
- Plan and execute strategies for scaling infrastructure and cloud resources as the business expands
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within infrastructure and cloud operations
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and IT infrastructure
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry is a plus
- Ability to work onsite most days to ensure effective collaboration and support for the team
