Senior Manager of Cloud Infrastructure and Operations

Our client has a brand new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Cloud Infrastructure and Operations to lead their critical cloud and IT operations team onsite in Andover, MA. This role requires a strong leader who can scale operations to meet the demands of a high-growth business.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the 24x7 Service Desk team, ensuring continuous support and response to infrastructure and cloud-related issues
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment
• Coordinate staff assignments and ensure efficient resource utilization to meet team goals
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Manage the company's cloud operations, optimizing performance and cost-efficiency
• Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure and cloud-related issues to minimize downtime and service disruptions
• Ensure a seamless digital experience for both internal and external stakeholders by monitoring and enhancing the performance of digital systems and services
• Manage desktop support to meet the needs of the growing workforce, guaranteeing their technological tools are fully functional
• Manage the procurement process for technology resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely acquisition of necessary hardware and software
• Collaborate with other departments to align infrastructure and cloud operations with the company's growth objectives
• Contribute to the execution of scaling initiatives for infrastructure and cloud resources as the business expands
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration)
• Proven experience in a leadership role within infrastructure and cloud operations
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and IT infrastructure
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry is a plus
• Ability to work onsite most days to ensure effective collaboration and support for the team
  
  

$120K - $150K annually DOE
