Role Overview : We are seeking an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for Emerging Markets to join our Outside Sales team.
In this role, you will focus on acquiring new business within your assigned region and contribute to growth strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to expand partnerships with local and regional restaurants through face-to-face engagements and a quick, transactional sales process.
You will work closely with a Regional Sales Manager and have access to various sales tools and resources.
Responsibilities :
- Travel to and establish presence in emerging markets, particularly rural areas.
- Persuade restaurant owners to partner and negotiate revenue-sharing agreements.
- Manage and close new business deals quickly, often within days.
- Compensation includes a base salary plus commission for each new restaurant partnership, with commission capped at $1,750 / month after meeting a minimum number of new partnerships.
Qualifications :
- 2.5 years of experience in a closing sales role or related field.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various markets at least 50% of the time to meet with potential partners.
- Skilled in using both inside and outside sales techniques to achieve targets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create strategies and build scalable solutions.
