Laboratory Technician(Food Safety & Quality)

Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM CST
Occasional Saturday 1 / 2 days (7 : 00 AM – 10 : 00 AM) once per month

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team and support our food safety, quality, and operational teams. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday through Friday, 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM CST , with occasional Saturday shifts (1 / 2 day from 7 : 00 AM – 10 : 00 AM , about once per month).

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine analytical and laboratory testing, ensuring the safety and quality of food and feed products. You will help develop and improve the company's food safety, quality, and regulatory culture by collaborating across functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hard-working, and able to conduct tests with intermediate supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct routine analysis and testing of food and feed products.

Monitor and check the performance of laboratory instrumentation.

Run calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and simple repairs on analytical instruments.

Maintain up-to-date customer specifications and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Document and interpret test results in databases and communicate findings to internal teams.

Help ensure all testing complies with the company’s quality, regulatory, and safety programs.

Collaborate cross-functionally to build and maintain an effective food safety and quality culture.

Requirements :

Ability to conduct routine laboratory tests and interpret results.

Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and maintenance.

Strong attention to detail and ability to document and communicate findings accurately.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and be proactive in troubleshooting.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
