Job Role: Maintenance Worker

Duration: 3 Months Role (With Possible Extension or Conversion)

Pay Range: $18/hr - $21/hr on W2

Location: New Port Richey FL (40hrs/week)

Shift: (Mon to Fri) [ (6:30 am - 3:00pm)]

Description:

• Required to have a high school degree and experience in the supervision of mechanical maintenance activities.
• Supervise the maintenance mechanics in the performed maintenance service of mechanical, electrical, piping, and structural systems in administrative buildings.
• The Maintenance Mechanic I performs general operations maintenance work requiring knowledge and skill in:

1. Troubleshooting
2. Repairing
3. Adjusting
4. Installation
5. Parts identification and fabrication for building, mobile, and production equipment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform diagnostics, repair, service, and rigging of:

1. Heating
2. Air conditioning
3. Refrigeration
4. Material handling equipment
5. Other electromechanical systems

• May also be required to:

1. Perform other maintenance work (e.g., rough carpentry and plumbing)
2. Perform welding work

• Perform other work conducive to efficient operations and/or maintaining business operations, including:

1. Project direction
2. Layout work
3. Planning of equipment installations

• Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with Maintenance best practices
• Maintain safety and regulatory equipment at all times and report any defects
• Work in all parts of the facility
• Comply with all EHS policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in mechanical or multi-skilled maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electromechanical repair and diagnostic skills
• General skills and expertise related to maintenance and facilities activities
• Demonstrated levels of theoretical knowledge with practical application
• Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or local equivalent
