Field Service Power Generation Technician Level II
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7 AM – 4 PM | On-call rotation (1 week/month) | Overtime available
💰 Compensation: Competitive base salary $5K sign-on bonus Benefits (401k, Pension, Medical, etc.)
🚗 Requirements: Valid Driver’s License | Clean 5-Year DMV Record | DOT Physical | Must be 21
Key Qualifications:
✅ 8 years of direct diesel engine experience (Industrial only – no residential generators)
✅ Power generation expertise (4kW – 2000kW , including 2500kW)
✅ Mechanical & electrical repair proficiency (Engine Electrical systems)
✅ High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
✅ New Unit Installs, Commissioning, Switchgear, and Paralleling (Preferred)
✅ Certifications: Vocational diploma, Electrical certification, CDL (if required)
Job Responsibilities:
🔹 Perform preventative maintenance & repairs on power generation equipment at customer sites.
🔹 Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical & electrical components.
🔹 Engage with customers professionally, ensuring excellent service & support.
🔹 Use specialized tools and follow safety/compliance guidelines (OSHA 70-E, load banking, etc.).
🔹 Complete work orders, timesheets, and warranty claims accurately.
🔹 Provide guidance and training to junior technicians as needed.
🔹 Adhere to DOT driving regulations (Hours of Service, ELD use, etc.).
Additional Requirements:
📌 Must pass Background Check (Criminal, Education, Work Experience)
📌 Must have or obtain DOT Med-Card
📌 3 years of commercial driving License
