What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at Compunnel Inc.?
The Quality Assurance Specialist's objective is to provide technical support to the manufacturing, support areas, stakeholders and clients in terms of quality while complying with the safety, quality and process improvement standards.
Actively participates in the strategies that assure the quality in the process and finished product. Leads investigations in conjunction with the manufacturing areas to ensure that finished products reach the customer in accordance with current specifications. Leads and participates in root cause analysis performing the corresponding activities to validate the appropriate corrective actions to eliminate quality losses in the process.
Knows, supports and generate synergy with the rest of the areas to comply with the Quality Management System through the correct implementation, execution, maintenance and improvement of the system throughout the supply chain.
Technical Knowledge:
- Bachelors. Chemistry related field.
- ISO9001, SAP, Chromatography, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis Methodologies, Office, SAP, Statistical Process Control
Previous Experience:
- Manufacturing companies in similar role or related to quality control roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and leadership of product investigations for deviation in physicochemical, sensory, GC parameters.
- Follow-up of NCs action plan and follow-up.
- Preparation and dissemination of weekly quality communication to shopfloor.
- Quality Systems housekeeping (SAP).
- ISO9001 Implementation key lead member for Quality.
