Job Summary :
As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Analyst, you will play a key role in managing user identities and access across the organization. This role involves overseeing and optimizing RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) systems, ensuring security controls, compliance, and the principle of least privilege. You will collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to improve IAM processes and align them with industry best practices, contributing significantly to the security of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
RBAC Management :
Oversee and manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of RBAC systems within the organization.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into RBAC policies, roles, and permissions.
Ensure access management aligns with the principle of least privilege and segregation of duties (SoD).
Collaboration and Strategy :
Work with cross-functional teams (IT, security, and compliance) to develop RBAC frameworks and strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Policy and Process Design :
Design, analyze, and improve RBAC processes, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient access management and robust security controls.
Define and document RBAC workflows and processes for clarity and consistency in execution.
Access Governance :
Manage access provisioning and deprovisioning processes to maintain secure and compliant user access across systems.
Support access attestation processes to ensure that the access levels are aligned with user roles and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications :
Experience :
3-5 years of direct experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) lifecycle management.
Proven experience with RBAC, Role Discovery, Role Configuration, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) in financial systems.
Experience with access provisioning and deprovisioning and access attestation processes.
Knowledge :
Detailed understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) with a focus on RBAC.
Strong subject matter expertise in Separation of Duties (SoD) and Toxic Combination Configuration in IAM systems.
Skills :
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete them within defined SLAs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications :
Additional Skills :
- Previous experience in financial systems related to IAM processes and role-based access.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment is a plus.
Certifications :
IAM Certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)) would be a plus.
