Job Summary :
The Production Support Specialist will be responsible for managing file transfer operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth exchange of Medicaid and Medicare data. This role requires expertise in Axway B2Bi, IPSwitch / WSFTP, ULTRAEDIT, Sentinel Web dashboard, and CFT for monitoring, maintaining, and resolving file transfer-related challenges. The ideal candidate will lead support issue resolution efforts, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements in system operations.
Key Responsibilities :
• Perform manual file transfers for Medicaid and Medicare data using Axway B2Bi and IPSwitch / WSFTP.
• Manage file transfer operations, including zipping, unzipping, renaming, and processing data files.
• Monitor and troubleshoot file transfers to ensure integrity and timely exchange of critical healthcare data.
• Utilize Sentinel Web dashboard to track file transfer statuses and generate alerts for failures.
• Provide user support by notifying stakeholders about transfer successes or failures and assisting with troubleshooting.
• Execute Unix / Linux shell commands for file manipulation and automate manual file processing using batch scripts.
• Implement secure file transfer protocols to maintain compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Lead production support efforts, prioritizing incidents and ensuring timely resolutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Maintain a knowledge base of known issues and resolutions to optimize support efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective problem management and incident resolution.
• Provide input for backup, rollback, and disaster recovery plans related to file transfer operations.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and timely publication of reports and performance metrics.
• Mentor team members and provide knowledge transfer to improve overall team effectiveness.
Required Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in production support, with a focus on file transfer management.
• Expertise in Axway B2Bi for managing B2B file exchanges and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with IPSwitch / WSFTP, ULTRAEDIT, CFT, and Sentinel Web dashboard.
• Strong knowledge of Unix / Linux shell scripting and batch script automation.
• Experience with secure file transfer protocols and data encryption techniques.
• Proficiency in incident management using tools like ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL for troubleshooting file transfer issues.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues related to file transfers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage critical escalations.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience in supporting Medicaid and Medicare data exchanges.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices in incident management.
• Prior experience in creating monitoring mechanisms and performance tuning processes.
