Facilities Technician

Job Posting: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - GMP Environment
Location: Glen Rock, PA
Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair facilities, support systems, and equipment in a GMP environment. The role focuses on safety, equipment reliability, preventive and corrective maintenance, and effective communication with management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Manage repairs, installations, and modifications, including welding, plumbing, electrical work, and more.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools, and procure replacements as needed.
• Train and support lower-level mechanics and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, OSHA, EPA).
• Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and team members.

Qualifications:

• State Certified Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, machinery repair, welding, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and instrumentation systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
• Must be available for on-call schedules and respond to call-ins as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
