Facilities Technician
Location: Glen Rock, PA

Job Summary:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, systems, lab, and production equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a GMP environment. Manage documentation, spare parts inventory, and communicate effectively with management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and facilities using manuals, drawings, and procedures.
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and corrective tasks.
- Handle equipment installations, modifications, and repairs, including welding, machining, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Source and manage spare parts, tools, and materials.
- Coordinate with external contractors and respond to hazardous waste incidents as needed.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance program and train junior staff.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, OSHA).
Qualifications:
- State-certified Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent.
- 4 years of industrial maintenance experience with skills in facilities maintenance, machinery repair, metal fabrication, and preventive services.
- Proficient in electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
- Calibration experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and forklift operation skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, on-call, and in varied environments.
Physical Demands:
- Lift to 50 pounds and operate tools and equipment.
- Work in adverse conditions indoors and outdoors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
