Job Title: Help Desk/Desktop Support Associate
Location: Gastonia, NC (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Job at a Glance:
We are seeking a Help Desk/Desktop Support Associate.. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting PC and Local Area Network issues, and working across multiple business areas in a multi-platform environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with computer hardware, software applications, and network protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and maintenance for computer hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot PC and LAN issues in a multi-platform environment.
- Assist end users with technical support and respond to support tickets.
- Work with mobile workforce technologies and data communications.
- Maintain and support Office365 applications.
- Ensure a courteous and professional approach to coworker and customer interactions.
- Lift or move up to 35 pounds as needed.
- Travel to company locations as needed (less than 25%).
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree, CompTIA A or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure certification preferred OR three or more years of equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with LAN, WAN network protocols.
- Ability to work independently on technically complex systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must have an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to work onsite in Gastonia, NC, five days a week.
