Primary Responsibilities:

• Technology Research & Adoption: Proactively research and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential business applications.
• Platform Replacement: Assist in the replacement and modernization of the existing Ping platform by identifying and integrating modern, scalable solutions.
• Innovation Strategy: Analyze and decipher new technologies not currently in use, providing recommendations and strategic direction for adoption.
• Software Development: Lead JavaScript development projects, creating scalable, high-quality software solutions tailored for customer consumption.
• Pipeline Management: Collaborate with development teams to manage processing pipelines using GIT and related tools.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a positive, knowledge-sharing work environment.

Required Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript
• Strong experience with GIT for version control and code collaboration
• Expertise in processing pipelines (e.g., GIT Bucket)

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Experience with C# for backend development
• Familiarity with project management and documentation tools like JIRA and Confluence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on customer-facing applications
• Previous experience in the technology and banking sectors is highly desirable
