Summary
The QA Manager primarily works across teams to ensure that software systems and components are successfully integrated across hardware systems and meet specified requirements. Will be primarily responsible for testing products and software to ensure quality and a successful rollout. Will also assist in managing one additional scrum team. Participates and leads the defect triage process which includes identifying, reproducing, and documents defects, bugs, or problems and helps lead the teams on scrum ceremonies.

Summary

Core Responsibilities
- Take leadership and manage multiple scrum/application teams across tasks
- Take proactive leadership across multiple applications/initiatives
- Design and develop QA/Test solutions based on available requirements even if they are not completely defined to keep making progress in a timely manner.
- Create Test Strategy across larger initiative. Present test strategy across scope, environment, data and other dependencies across internal audience
- Track dependencies across multiple applications which affects Testing
- Communicates progress and roadblocks and seeks assistance where required.
- Assists and monitors in progress in code quality and defect reduction
- Aids in increased Automation coverage across applications
- Mentors engineers and provides technical guidance to leadership.
- Demonstrate knowledge of our applications/tools/procedures.
- Track and report on established QA metrics and KPIs for assigned projects.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering/technical discipline
- Overall, 12-15 years related IT experience
- 8 years’ QA experience in an IT environment with formal test tools and common software quality standards with 5 years in a lead/manager role
- Experience with SDLC (software development life cycle)
- Experience with testing integrated systems and enterprise-level applications
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of QA processes, practices, and systems.
- Experience executing and coordinating system integration, end-to-end testing and coordinating in user-acceptance testing.
- Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent teams, projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to work in team-based environments.
- Experience performing API testing - REST APIs/ web services using SOAP UI, Postman, WINSCP, PUTTY
- Experience in automating applications using Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Java, C#
- Working experience of relational databases and queries
- Experience executing and coordinating Performance / Load Testing is a Plus (LoadRunner, JMeter)
- Experience using Confluence Team Collaboration software a plus. – JIRA/Wiki
- Knowledge of Video/Media platform technology a plus.
