Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work with business stakeholders, effectively communicate data, and facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of business processes, system integrations, and data analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze requirements from business units and translate them into technical specifications for developers.

Conduct cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support decision-making on system implementations.

Work closely with clients to understand their information processing and computational needs.

Coordinate and integrate computer systems across the organization to enhance compatibility and streamline data sharing.

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Develop process documentation, workflows, and data mapping to support business needs.

Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test cases and assisting end users.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend system enhancements.

Provide training and guidance to business users on new systems and functionalities.
Must-Have Technical Skills:

Experience working in an Agile environment, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Proficiency in Jira for project tracking, workflow management, and issue tracking.

Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization and reporting tools.

Hands-on experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.

Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
