Primary Responsibilities
- Design & Development : Own the end-to-end design and implementation of software fixes, enhancements, components, and/or new systems and applications.
- Technical Leadership : Lead development by providing guidance to direct reports and junior engineers; serve as a key point of escalation and expert resource.
- Solution Architecture : Propose technical solutions that meet current specifications and inform future development.
- Project Execution : Deliver assigned component-level software development projects and major fixes using new or existing technologies.
- Specifications & Documentation : Develop clear, concise specifications for assigned components or fixes. Contribute to protocols and tools for installation and maintenance.
- Code Review & Quality : Write, review, and optimize code to maintain high performance and scalability.
- Testing & Debugging : Oversee (and perform as needed) the testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of both new applications and existing systems.
- Architectural Direction : Participate in setting the architectural direction for ongoing development projects, designing specific components, and creating detailed specifications.
- Full-Stack Expertise : Code against the full technology stack and lead end-to-end troubleshooting.
- Collaboration : Interact with other technical teams to align deliverables, share knowledge, and ensure smooth integration.
- Mentorship : Serve as a high-level technical resource, guiding team members through problem analysis, issue resolution, and best practices.
- Process Improvement : Recommend enhancements to processes, technologies, and interfaces to increase the teams effectiveness.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
