Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS, Jenkins, and Ansible tools
- Develop and maintain automated configurations for servers and services in the AWS environment
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure services to ensure reliability and performance
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and system reliability-document processes and configurations to improve operational efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, DevOps, or system administration
- 3 years of hands-on experience as a Linux or Windows system administrator
- 3 years of experience managing AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and basic shell programming
- Familiarity with Git for version control
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Jenkins and writing Jenkins files for CI/CD
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for configuration management
- Familiarity with additional AWS services (e.g., API Gateway, ECS, CloudWatch)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and cloud security best practices. Exposure to Java development is a plus
- Soft Skills: Strong ability to follow directions and work independently while taking initiative
- Effective team player with excellent collaboration skills. A mindset for continuous learning and growth in DevOps tools and practices
