CSCI seeks a Project and Requirements Officer (RO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) team member who will support a major U.S. Navy customer with technical subject matter expertise. This position supports the U.S. Navy Special Access Programs Central Office (SAPCO). DoN SAPCO / N9SP Support is a government program that advances DoN interests (requirements, innovation, oversight, and fleet implementation) through subject matter experts and security professionals. The subject matter expert will work with a dynamic team and a forward-thinking, engaging customer.
This position is on-site, Monday-Friday. The primary worksite is in Springfield.
Responsibilities
As one of the contributing team members, Project RO SME primary responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Support RO's in implementing DoD Acquisition System Processes for DONSAP programs. Assist with analysis / evaluation of SAP cost, schedule, performance, risk, COAs and other information as provided.
- Assist RO's with research, analysis, assessment of alternative COAs, impact assessment, and decision options concerning Iraq's development and resource allocation, program alternatives, future warfighting technologies, and weapon system acquisition roadmaps.
- Provide subject matter continuity and training of new personnel due to military / government personnel turnover for program status, SAP, and office policies and procedures.
- Support SAP Analytic Assessments. In coordination with study sponsors, develop terms of reference documentation and proposed security environment. Research, staff, and prepare memos, MOA / MOU, letters, briefs, POA&Ms, and other documentation by policy, process, and templates for principal review and approval. Provide recommendations regarding routing and coordination requirements.
