Computer Task Group is seeking a Technical Writer for a long-term contract opportunity in Burlington, Vermont.
Skills:
Good command of the English language with excellent written communication skills.
Experience writing manuals for commercial software including: - Application Overview and Architecture - How to install the application - How to use the application - How to develop customizations* Awareness of different types of documentation formats and recommending the most appropriate one for specific scenarios* Will be responsible for cleaning up / rewriting existing documentation for an internal application that will be sold commercially* Research, write, and edit content, working closely with various technical leads to understand the project requirements* Gather information from SME's then organize the technical specifications and create documentation for the customers consumption - Identify documentation gaps and coordinate responses to resolve the gaps - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
