The Help Desk Technician is the primary contact between our customers and CTS. This position is the front line for service requests, hardware and software troubleshooting, warranty claims, computer set up/staging, device repairs and resolving customer issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering service requests.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Consult with customers and provide advice.
- Manage assigned issues.
- Develop and maintain RMM tools.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Complete understanding of the products and markets we serve.
- Display professional behavior both internally and externally.
- Engage in cross training and on-going education opportunities.
- Track time and expenses accurately according to company policy.
- Be prepared for occasional after-hours work or occasional off-site jobs.
- Work with management to fine tune processes, increase proficiency, identify growth areas and better the organization.
Experience and Skills
- IT Support experience
- Customer Service experience
- Strong PC skills including experience supporting Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Windows, IP Telephony and additional software
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Superior communication, organization, and follow-through skills are essential.
- Proven initiative, good judgment, and ability to achieve results.
Qualifications and Certifications
- An Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Ability to occasionally lift over 25 lbs.
