What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Analyst position at ComputerAid, Inc?
We are looking for a Technical Support Analyst professional to provide technical assistance to computer, system, and phone users. This is a full-time contract position. It will be onsite in Boise, Idaho, with a duration of 3 months and a slight possibility of extension.
What You’ll Do
- Support Windows-based machines (Windows 10 & 11)
- Perform basic Active Directory user management
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Assist with basic phone system usage (Cisco-based)
- Work within the in-house ticketing system
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
- Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person
- Document, track, and monitor technical issues
- Provide excellent customer service
What You'll Need
Required:
- 2 years of professional experience in a technical end-user support role
- 2 years of experience with Windows-based machines (Windows 10 & 11)
- 2 years of basic Active Directory user management
- 2 years of troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications
- 2 years of experience with phone system usage (Cisco-based)
- 2 years of help desk ticketing system experience
- 2 years of basic networking support
- 2 years of hardware/software installation and imaging
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
- Strong sense of customer service and professionalism
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Entra AD/M365
- Experience working in virtualized environments
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $22.24 - $26.79 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
