This is a HYBRID position that requires onsite presence in Buffalo, NY area.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our client’s development team. In this role, you’ll develop strategies to enhance the platform’s architecture for future growth as new features are added while helping to remediate identified security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle development for core PHP web application.
- Play an important role in security remediation efforts for the existing PHP application, addressing identified vulnerabilities
- Implement secure coding practices and standards across the development team
- Architect and develop scalable solutions to support continued user growth
- Evaluate third-party software solutions and recommend integration opportunities where appropriate
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modern development practices
- Mentor junior developers on security-focused development techniques
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and security standards
- Develop and maintain documentation for security protocols and procedures
