Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) is a division within Computershare (CPU) and is a market leader with decades of experience as a provider of trustee and sophisticated agency services for private and public companies, investment bankers, asset managers as well as governments and institutions.

The CCT Process Risk & Control Analyst operates within the CCT First Line of Defense Control team responsible for the execution of CCT's process and control framework by verifying process adherence to CCT standards, performing timely and accurate control testing, and resolving gaps and errors.

The CCT Process Risk and Control Analyst is responsible for daily oversight and support of CCT (Computershare Corporate Trust) Process Risk Control Testing Program. They serve as central points of contact for the CCT Process Risk and Control Testing program by developing test scopes, completing timely and accurate testing, challenging control deficiencies, and reporting test results.

The Process Risk and Control Analyst will work closely with governance and control colleagues embedded within CCT departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of assigned responsibilities and projects including process and procedure documentation, business process change reviews, control testing, and process risk and control self-assessments (pRCSAs). The incumbent will confirm compliance with CPU and CCT standards, provide direction on internal controls, processes, and provide general support, as required.

Additionally, this role will deliver status updates and reports to the Business Control Manager and ensure accurate and complete data.

Some of your key responsibilities may include :

  • Correspond with both internal and external customers in response to queries received, providing accurate written or verbal guidance and interpretation in order to maintain high quality customer service standards.
  • Support CCT department objectives and initiatives by validating department business processes are designed, documented, reviewed, and adhere to CCT process standards.
  • Execute the Business Control Testing Program, including creation of control statements, testing processes, test scripts, and other documentation following program requirements and confirm department business processes are followed.
  • Review and challenge the departments' self-assessment program results, confirm accuracy and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Support the CCT GCG team in producing monthly control testing results including coordinating progress updates for open issues for Management review. Deliver training and guidance on execution of the control testing program and changes to the standard to so that users receive consistent messaging.
  • Assist in the global process Risk and Control Self-assessment (pRCSA) program across CCT and validate adherence to CPU pRCSA Standard.

What will you bring to the role?

The CCT Business Control Analysts requires a basis understanding of risk and control concepts and how those concepts apply to their assigned CCT groups or topic. The role requires sufficient product and operational knowledge to identify and assess potential impact of changes or improvements to the department's operating environment. Additional knowledge will be acquired through on the job training and knowledge.

Required :

  • College level degree or local equivalent in a related business or technology field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in trust, analyst, risk, compliance, audit, or financial services.
  • Preferred :

  • Relevant experience in Corporate Trust knowledge, administration or operational, business control testing, compliance, regulations, and risk management. Background in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or business analysis is preferred.
  • Business service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending issues / needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Effective organizational skills

  • Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $71,000- $91,000. This base pay is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations.
