Global Core Operations (GCO) provides centralized service delivery and internal support for Computershare’s commercial business lines, including primarily Issuer Services and Employee Plans.
A role you will love
The Dividend Disbursements team is responsible for end to end delivery of client dividend payments to their shareholders. Dividend Disbursements Operations handles payments for all books of business including Transfer Agent, Closed End funds, ADRs, CPMs, REITS and bonds.
This role will work collaboratively with the Dividend Service Operations Support along with other business units in order to meet the client’s expectations related to Payments.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Provide dividend service delivery.
- Dividend Events Admin is responsible for delivering accurate and timely delivery of payments based on Front Office instruction.
- Administrators are responsible for successfully processing the payment with available information and coordination with various internal and external dependencies such as other Shared Services, CCS, DRP, Tax, etc.
- Secure information and project manage delivery.
- Ensures that all tasks related to the payment are properly documented and delivered.
Ensure quality product delivered.
- Prepare and reconcile payments for both Issuer and Plans clients and uploading data to SCRIP.
- Interface with the clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Payment Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and ensure SLAs are met.
Team Support.
- Regularly receive escalated time sensitive tasks from management and ability to prioritize accordingly (BAU).
What will we need from you?
Required:
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
An understanding of the general concepts, various technologies, and metrics required to ensure successful day-today technical support.
Business-focused communication skills.
Understanding of and experience in low-level accounting principles and practices.
Experience working with various technical applications.
Preferred:
A knowledge of Computershare’s products, customer markets, regulatory environments, processes, and technologies applicable to this department’s specific functions.
