ComResource is looking for a Director of IT Operations and Infrastructure.
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise cloud services, networking, security, IT support, and governance. This position will play a key role in maintaining a high-performing and secure IT environment across multiple office locations.
Responsibilities :
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
Lead and oversee IT infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Manage enterprise cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and SaaS platforms.
Develop strategies for endpoint management, network security, and operational efficiency.
Oversee networking and security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Align IT operations with business objectives and key stakeholders.
Cloud & SaaS Management
Optimize and manage cloud environments, ensuring seamless operation of key business applications.
Drive cloud security best practices, identity management, and access controls.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to optimize cloud services and costs.
Networking & Security
Oversee secure and resilient network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
Lead cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Monitor and manage network security policies, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Employee IT Support & Endpoint Management
Manage IT support teams to provide high-quality technical support across all locations.
Develop and maintain IT service desk processes and performance metrics.
Oversee endpoint device management, software deployment, and IT policies to enhance user productivity.
Governance, Compliance, & Risk Management
Ensure IT policies align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Lead compliance initiatives related to data protection, security, and IT risk management.
Monitor IT operations for compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or other applicable frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
10 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, including leadership roles.
Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and enterprise cloud platforms.
Proven experience managing networking, security, and IT support functions across multiple locations.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, endpoint management, and IT service management (ITSM) platforms.
Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
Preferred Certifications :
Microsoft Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certifications
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
