This is an on-site role in Deleware, Ohio
We are seeking a strong IT Director to lead our client's IT department. In this direct hire role, you will oversee technology operations, and ensure the alignment of IT initiatives with business goals. The main work location for this position is our Corporate Office in Delaware, Ohio, but you will also occasionally be supporting associates at our Columbus location and remote users.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all technology operations, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Coordinate and supervise projects involving system upgrades, new implementations, and integrations.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Ensure the security of IT infrastructure, data, and systems by implementing best practices and regular audits.
- Manage the IT budget, including cost control, budget planning, and vendor negotiations.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Support the web development team and the ERP team, providing general knowledge of IBM AIX systems.
- Support the ERP team migration to a cloud environment including determining technical needs, identifying cloud provider, and managing the migration process.
- Provide support for a change in platform for the current HCL based Website infrastructure.
