ComSonics Manufacturing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and contract negotiation.
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure goods and services
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Resolve supplier performance issues and disputes
- Manage inventory levels and optimize purchasing processes
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree and 6-12 months related experience and/or training or; an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Kinetic)
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
