The ParkX Senior Security Operations Manager is responsible for the daily management of assigned Comstock / Third party locations. This position delivers company, client, and customer expectations by ensuring that all assigned locations are operating in a first-class manner and in accordance with company policy. They will assist with the development and design of financial statements and management proposals. This person should demonstrate leadership, be willing to drive positive change, and should participate in and support organizational objectives. #careerssponsor
Key Responsibilities
- The Security Operations Manager will provide leadership, direct management, and day-to-day oversight of the physical Security team, including Operation Managers, Supervisors, and Officers
- Ensure team members understand and promote corporate goals, core values, and departmental responsibilities detailed in the Company org chart and Employee Handbook
- Promptly address and resolve customer concerns in a first-class manner that is consistent with guidelines established by the Comstock Executive Team
- Ensure all security officers are properly licensed to the required state assigned for employment. Assist with licensing process if needed for proper state.
- Assist Operation managers on payroll and scheduling.
- Ensures all employees are on the driver's policy, if motor vehicles assigned to the location.
- Plans and coordinate security operations for specific events with the marketing department and Security Operations Managers.
- Walk assigned properties daily and keep a running list of maintenance items
- Resolves customer concerns that are escalated to his / her attention by the facility's front-line associates
- Maintains equipment through regular maintenance and preventative care
- Manages scheduling, payroll, deployment, supervision, training, and discipline of Security Officers
- Oversee monthly client meetings
- Possesses a complete knowledge and understanding of all properties within the Comstock portfolio and Third party (VA, MD, DC).
- Possesses a complete knowledge and understanding of all current and prospective clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 2 years of security / law enforcement experienceMust be certified security officer by the state of Virginia, Maryland and Washington DCMinimum of at least 3-year experience in customer-service related fieldValid driver's license without major violationsFlexibility to work after hours and weekends, as neededOutgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build / maintain strong relationshipsCPR / AED / First Aid CertificationMust have the ability to forge and maintain relationships with police departments in localStrong problem-solving, time management and communication skillsMust be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrityMust hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellenceMust have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovationMust be customer-focused and results-orientedMust want to continuously learn and developExceptional oral and written communication, active listening, and organizational skillsAbility to establish strong working relationships with others in team settingAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentSelf-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervisionMGMT Qualifications :
