Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Cleared Personnel Security Manager to join our team in Lorton, Virginia. As a Personnel Security Manager, you will support the security team in managing and processing personnel security clearances, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. This role involves tracking and maintaining security documentation, conducting security briefings, and assisting with investigations and reporting of security violations.

Job Description:

• Security Clearance Processing / Onboarding: Assist in the processing of new employee security clearances, including tracking within systems of record, notifying stakeholders of statuses, and participating in meetings as needed.
• Security Documentation: Maintain accurate security documentation and personnel files in accordance with
  customer requirements.
• Security Education and Training: Provide oversight and administration for comprehensive security education, training, and awareness programs for cleared employees, including conducting Initial Security Briefings, Refresher Training, and Debriefing refresher training.
• Security Violations: Investigate and review security violations and prepare reports.
• Security Out-processing: Ensure that terminated cleared employees receive security debriefings and complete the security out-processing.
• Email Management: Oversee and coordinate the team's email communications, ensuring timely responses, proper organization, and effective follow-up on important matters. This includes managing inboxes, prioritizing emails, and maintaining clear and efficient communication channels.
• Account and CAC Processing: Handle the processing of Common Access Cards (CACs) and account requests, ensuring accurate and timely completion. This includes verifying documentation, coordinating with relevant departments, and maintaining records to support seamless access and account management for team members.
• Manages key deliverables and associated project activities

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years experience in personnel security or a related
  field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with security systems and databases such as JADE, NBIS and DISS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous military experience is highly desirable, as it brings valuable skills in leadership,
  discipline, and strategic thinking. Candidates with a background in military service are encouraged to apply.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Security, Security Management, or a similar discipline.
• Alternatively, candidates with relevant physical or industrial security certifications may also be considered in place of a formal degree.

Requirements

• Must be within driving distance of Lorton VA OR willing to relocate there.
• Must be willing to work onsite
• Must possess an active TS SCI clearance
• 1-3 years of experience is required
• Must possess an active Security certification
