We are currently hiring all Levels from entry level to Leads
COM-TECH is a leader in Physical Security Systems to include Video Surveillance, Access Control, Mass Notification, Managed Services, and Professional Services. We specialize in Critical Assets protection to include City/State Government, Correctional Facilities, Water Treatment Facilities, and large enterprise accounts. Our coverage area includes the Southeast states to include GA, this position is based out of our headquarters located in Stockbridge, GA in Metro Atlanta, but also available to drive directly to sites. After 90 days, a company vehicle may be offered. Gas cards will be provided.
We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to join our team with positions open as Level 1, 2, and 3 Physical Security technician. This position will be responsible for servicing, installing, and programming Access Control, Video Surveillance and Mass Notification systems in a fast paced and physically demanding environment. The position is for a detailed oriented and forward-thinking professional. Applicant will be expected to perform these tasks without direct supervision and will take ownership for all assignments. Safety and customer service are our top priorities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair physical components of Access Control, Video Surveillance and Mass Notification systems in various working environments.
- Ability to program software components of Access Control, Video Surveillance and Mass Notification systems in various working environments.
- Thorough understanding of the mechanical operation, the electrical wiring, and the configuration of industry standard locking hardware.
- Working knowledge of and the ability to install various devices that make up the complete systems per industry standards, codes, specifications, and project specific documents.
- Working knowledge of and ability to install cabling and other infrastructure that supports these systems per industry standards, codes, specifications, and project specific documents.
- Possess a complete set of industry standard tools and knowledge of their use.
·· Familiarity with low voltage AC and DC electrical systems and troubleshooting practices (including the use of a multi-meter).
- Strict adherence to company safety and employment policies.
