Additionally, the candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of environmental issues affecting civil projects - it's required.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the DOT PHMSA exam and test which is required.Project Management experience is preferred. Additional preference will be given to those with backgrounds in utility work, industrial, heavy commercial, or the petrochemical industry.Knowledge of pipeline welding, non-destructive testing, and pipeline construction is also highly desirable.Proficiency in design programs like STAAD, SAP 2000, AutoCAD, MathCAD, or similar software is preferred.Familiarity with state and federal regulations impacting gas operations is preferred.Skills And AbilitiesMust be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.Strong written and verbal communication skillsProject Demonstrated project management skillsLicenses And CertficationsDriver's License RequiredProfessional Engineer (PE) PreferredAdditional Physical DemandsMust be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.Must be able to travel to company locations and wear the required PPE as needed.Must be able and willing to travel within the company's service territory as required.Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions.Must be able and willing to work in environments consisting of both office and field settings.For field visits, must be able to walk extensively, climb, bend, kneel, work in environments with exposure to noise, heat, confined spaces, heights, etc.Must be willing and able to wear respirator, full body fall protection and associated required PPE.EEO Statement :
