Required Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8 years of experience in areas of design, and application of engineering principles in assigned areas of expertise or
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6 years of experience in areas of design, and application of engineering principles in assigned areas of expertise.
Preferred Education / Experience
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6 years of experience in areas of design, and application of engineering principles in assigned areas of expertise.
Relevant Work Experience
Must be a motivated individual with strong leadership abilities and demonstrated initiatives - Required
Must be knowledgeable in NYS and NYC Building Codes and capable of performing equipment sizing calculations and selecting mechanical equipment - Required
Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities with a proven record of accomplishments in providing architectural support for various types of projects - Required
Strong interpersonal skills as well as good oral and written communication skills to interact with various departments and customers (internal and external) at all levels - Required
Must be able to perform required calculations and select equipment in support of capital and O&M project designs - Required
Professional Engineering license is highly desirable - Preferred

Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
