Required Education / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and and 2 years of experience in IT or a similar role
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and and 4 years of experience in IT or a similar role
High School Diploma / GED and and 5 years of experience in IT or a similar role
Relevant Work Experience
3-5 years Experience Supporting Data Centers monitoring power usage, heat load and cable plant
3-5 years Experience working with Building Management Systems.
3-5 years Experience supporting monitoring and reporting tools such as SolarWinds.
3-5 years Experience coordinating deployment of new systems at data centers
3-5 years Experience working with Visio or other Diagramming applications.
Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading projects to successful outcomes.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to providing excellent support.
Scheduling and guiding preventative maintenance for UPS, Batteries, Cooling systems, etc
Practical networking knowledge (subnets, firewalls, loadbalancing, routing, HTTP / HTTPS, SSH, SFTP / SFTPS, SMTP).
Willingness to work 24 / 7 on call support / shift as needed.
Exposure Virtualization technologies, including VMware and Nutanix.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps and a thorough understanding of the Agile framework for project management a plus.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and effectively.
Experience working with data centers and a strong cybersecurity-first mentality.
