Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Assist the Team Lead in planning and executing data center projects, ensuring that timelines and goals are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, facilities, Corporate I&O Teams, to gather requirements and provide analytical support.
- Support the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of data center operations, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in documenting processes, workflows, and project updates, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends relevant to infrastructure and data center management.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure data center and infrastructure changes meet project requirements.
- Help monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying potential issues and suggesting improvements.
- Provide support in the configuration and optimization of data center components, including UPS, In-Row cooling, heat flow, StruxureWare and power modules.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project progress and findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues, working closely with senior team members to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay current with technological advancements and industry best practices.
- Provide general support to the team, including administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, and coordinating project activities.
