Bookkeeper - Full Time Con Yeager Spice Co.
Job Description
Preparation of monthly financial statements, gather and analyze information from the general ledger system. Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets as necessary. Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, including bank reconciliations. Ensure integrity of all aspects relating to the company's financial well-being. The ideal candidate will have previous bookkeeping experience.
Bookkeeper Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Previous bookkeeping experience and understanding of accounting principles required
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- Exceptional communication and professional interpersonal abilities
Bookkeeper Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations: Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, daily financial entries, and reconciliations
- Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Preparing and filing financial documents
- Fact-checking accounting data
