What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Plant Continuous Improvement position at Conagra?
Our manufacturing facility in St. Elmo, Illinois, produces a range of well-known brands, including Wish Bone, Log Cabin, and Mrs. Butterworth. We are seeking a leader to partner with our plant team to establish a zero-loss manufacturing culture.
What Impact Will You Have on Our Business?
- Lead the cultural shift to managing through key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provide leadership and expertise in ConAgra Performance System (CPS) best practices
- Coordinate support for plant pillar and platform leads (5S, Safety, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement)
You will engage associates in CPS concepts through hands-on mentoring and audits, lead reliability improvement plans, and work with teams to guide actions to support CPS. Additionally, you will coach teams in giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, trade-off analysis, and interpersonal communications.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, Engineering, or related field
- 3 years of manufacturing experience and 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement environments, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related process improvement systems
