What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer-Wanamingo Fabrication position at Concast Inc?
We are looking for a reliable and hard working General Laborer to work in our Fabrication Shop in Wanamingo. You would be responsible for the operation of a variety of equipment and machines to take galvanized and stainless-steel sheets and work them into a variety of hardware parts for use in other Concast operations and parts. There will also be other duties assigned as needed for other preparation and set up. Candidate would be required to operate equipment in a manner to maximize safety and the precision of parts to be produced.
Primary Duties
· Operation of Press Brakes
· Operation of metal sheer
· Operation of punch press
· Operation of large metal band saw
· Reading blue prints to cut and bend precision parts
Secondary Duties
· Operate a variety of counting and sorting equipment
· Forklift operation
· Operation of machining center
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience in fabrication techniques using various tools.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line processes.
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
