This role will oversee employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, compliance, and HR strategy to align with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR matters.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.
- Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and drive retention strategies.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Develop onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Partner with department leaders to identify workforce needs and succession planning.
Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Manage HR records, reporting, and performance evaluation processes.
Benefits & Compensation
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, renewals, and employee support.
- Assist in compensation strategy development to maintain market competitiveness.
- Educate employees on benefits programs and wellness initiatives.
Training & Development
- Implement training programs to enhance employee growth and professional development.
- Provide coaching to managers on leadership and performance management.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
Work Environment:
- This is an in-office role based in Omaha, NE.
- Some travel may be required for recruiting or employee engagement initiatives.
