Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Staff member at our busy fitness studio. This part-time role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about health and wellness, has excellent communication skills, and is proficient in using the Mindbody client management system. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet clients warmly, check them in for classes, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries about memberships, classes, and studio events.
- Client Management: Use the Mindbody system to schedule classes, manage memberships, handle payments, and update client information.
- Sales Support: Assist in selling memberships, class packages, and merchandise, and provide information on promotions and special offers.
- Studio Maintenance: Keep the front desk area tidy, organize retail displays, and ensure that the studio space is clean and welcoming for clients.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle basic administrative duties, such as tracking attendance, maintaining records, and managing inventory.
- Communication: Relay important information to clients, instructors, and staff, and assist with studio updates via email or social media as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience with the Mindbody client management system is required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic about fitness and wellness.
- Comfortable with basic sales and handling cash or card transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
