Role Summary

As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and tactical oversight of all marketing programs across the organization to promote all services. This position will lead a team of high performing marketing leaders, and exhibit superior competencies in strategic thinking, driving high performance and execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both product and clinical marketing within the healthcare and life sciences industries.

Responsibilities

  • A pivotal role leading supporting market development and customer development initiatives.
  • Key role supporting the marketing launch and lifecycle management of our products, with a special focus on the clinical marketing of our scientific evidence, augmented decision support, and research services.
  • Overseeing marketing team members responsible for various segments or projects (e.g., content, search engine optimization, advertising, email, branding, PR, social media).
  • Lead the marketing launch of new products and drive brand strategy for existing products.
  • Lead the marketing plan for publications and to advance our scientific evidence (publications are driven by another team).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, R&D, medical, R&D to develop and execute on comprehensive marketing plans that include sales enablement, awareness campaigns, and training that incorporates clinical insights and evidence.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop abstract summaries for key conferences, create and execute clinical marketing resources and campaigns to communicate the clinical value and impact of our products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, clinical teams, and product development teams.
  • Key brand identification, lead targeting efforts and account planning activities.
  • Manage client communication, record keeping and client contact information throughout all phases in the marketing process for reporting.
  • Oversee management of key conferences and educational initiatives including webinars, targeted society meetings, key industry conferences.
  • Identify and validate market opportunities, needs, and assist with developing plans to launch and refine new product or service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, communications or related field.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in a marketing leadership position; experience in Life Sciences is a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering revenue-based results, balancing a data driven marketing strategy approach.
  • Communications and reputation building of healthcare and life sciences products; familiar with both standard of care solutions and research solutions.
  • An understanding of healthcare and medical event production and management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of market development and supporting commercial launches for new technology / SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully launch and market products in a highly clinical and scientific markets.
