Part-Time RSVP Program Specialist
COG Requirements:
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
- Must reside in Abilene or within a 20–25-mile radius of Big Country area (May be “Work from Home”)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work Business Management OR
- A related field and one year of relevant experience OR
- Any equivalent combination or education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively oversee SCP, FGP and RSVP.
Assists in the operation of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) which is funded through a federal grant from the Corporation for National Community Services (CNCS) and which falls under the umbrella of the Concho Valley Council of Governments (CVCOG). Recruits and helps prepare persons aged 55 and above to serve in volunteer assistance with designated programs in the service area.
