What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Concierge position at Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati?
As Patient Advocate, you will hold the hand of our members through their health journeys. You will educate and welcome them to our practice and our practice model, build relationships with them, manage communications with our office, their primary provider, and their larger healthcare team; You will help then schedule appointments, coordinate specialist referrals, assist in scheduling diagnostic tests, facilitate second opinions, assist with health record tracking and management, and assist them insurance issues. You will become a trusted and important part their care team, guiding and supporting them throughout the course of their membership, making sure their needs are met, and questions are answered promptly and effectively. We want our patients to see our practice as their medical home and their care team as family.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office The role reports to the CMOC Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as our existing patients trusted advocate
· Manage inbound patient inquiries and talk with prospective new patients, educating them about our practice model, membership options and providers
· Act as the primary liaison between our patients and their physicians, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Respond to current patient questions via phone, email, or patient portal, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Schedule appointments, follow up on patient requests, and coordinate care as needed.
- Be a point of contact for all Concierge Medicine of Cincinnati (CMoC) patients with issues, including clinical issues, billing concerns, and records requests.
- Be a specific point of contact for CEO’s patients, offering dedicated patient navigation services to meet their unique needs.
- Assist with patient onboarding, ensuring new patients understand membership options and practice policies.
- Facilitate communication between patients and external healthcare providers when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
