Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydro Blasting Supervisor to oversee and manage our hydro blasting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-pressure water blasting techniques, safety protocols, and team management and a Commerical Driver's License (CDL). As a Hydro Blasting Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hydro blasting activities are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Supervise and lead a team of hydro blasting technicians and operators.
  • Assign tasks and ensure the team is adequately trained on equipment operation, safety procedures, and project requirements.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

• Operational Management:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee hydro blasting activities for cleaning, surface preparation, and material removal tasks.
  • Ensure that all equipment, tools, and machinery are in proper working condition, and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage the safe operation of high-pressure water blasting systems and ensure compliance with company protocols and regulatory guidelines.

• Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce strict safety measures and best practices during all hydro blasting operations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard assessments, and safety meetings.
  • Ensure all team members wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) and adhere to safety standards.
  • Address and resolve any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

• Client Interaction & Project Management:

  • Communicate with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and specifications.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and performance, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all technical and quality standards.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all hydro blasting activities, including equipment usage, safety checks, and daily operational reports.
  • Prepare reports on project progress, including any challenges or improvements for future operations.
  • Monitor material usage and ensure inventory levels are maintained.

• Proven experience as a Hydro Blasting Technician or Operator, with at least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of hydro blasting techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational issues.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
• Certification in hydro blasting or relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NACE) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in physically demanding and hazardous environments, and to follow safety protocols at all times.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces, as needed.
